Christ and Mary Magdalen (Noli me tangere)
In the first light of dawn, the risen Christ speaks to the mourner at the empty tomb; at first, she believes him to be a gardener. When however he speaks her name, she recognizes him. With the words "Noli me tangere" ("Touch me not") Christ reveals to Mary Magdalene his transfigured state and instructs her to tell his disciples about their encounter (John 20, 11-17).
