Munich’s Pinakothek museums, the Sammlung Schack and the Museum Brandhorst house not only world-class masterpiece, but have also long been renowned as exclusive venues for various events. The spectacular architecture of the Pinakothek der Moderne in particular has, since its opening, attracted organisers from many sectors. The unique atmosphere of our museums can also provide your event with a special flair and increased visibility - the milieu of one-of-a-kind art and culture will inspire your guests and remain with them long after the event is over.

Whether reception, lecture, company event, symposium, dinner or exclusive product launch - our museums are excellently suited to almost any type of event. Our range of services also always include a competent and professional consultation during which the specific circumstances of the individual spaces are taken into consideration to ensure the complete success of your event in these special venues.

All events can of course also be combined with exclusive, theme-oriented guided tours.

Alte Pinakothek

Leo von Klenze’s neoclassical building from 1836, which set new standards for European museum architecture, offers the ideal setting for events with traditional character and a high social standard. The museum’s collection contains milestones in European painting from the Middle Ages and Renaissance through to the Baroque: Guests encounter here works of international renown in unique concentration. The entrance hall embodies Leo von Klenze’s spacious architecture and is characterized - as are the spaces of Café Klenze with its fine furnishings - by a classic, elegant atmosphere.

Pinakothek der Moderne

The Pinakothek der Moderne embodies the symbiosis of different artistic forms of expression. Four internationally renowned collections in the areas art, works on paper, architecture and design are all here under one roof. The spacious structure with its vast, light-flooded galleries, invites visitors and guests to discover interconnections, and to enjoy new and surprising aesthetic insights.

Three extraordinary spaces are available for your events: the impressive 24-metre high rotunda at the heart of the building, the light-flooded, modern conservatory and the Ernst von Siemens Auditorium, which is equipped with state-of-the-art presentation technology and with room for up to 325 people.

Museum Brandhorst

The Museum Brandhorst accommodates a comprehensive and important collection of modern art. The acclaimed building by the Berlin-based architectural firm Sauerbruch Hutton presents work groups by selected artists from the second half of the 20th century, as well as works by numerous internationally-active contemporary artists.  
The collection includes, for example, works by pioneering Pop Art protagonists, as well as by Andy Warhol and Cy Twobly.

The light-flooded, oak-panelled entrance hall is the ideal setting for lectures or for small dinner parties with select groups of guests.

Sammlung Schack

The Sammlung Schack is a collection of German landscape and history paintings of the Late Romantic period amassed by Count Adolf Friedrich von Schack. The building that houses the collection in the Prinzregentenstrasse, built in 1910 by Max Littmann, underscores the private nature of this collection and is well-suited as an event venue for occasions with a limited number of guests. The marble entrance hall is the ideal setting for receptions and lectures, while the Kopiensaal is particularly suited to dining.
