Die neue Sammlung - The International Design Museum Munich
Jewelry as your life and your mission. As an expert for applied art, specifically for jewelry art, Marjan Unger from the Netherlands is active internationally as a jury member, author, lecturer and collector. Her ongoing deliberately public championing of jewellery as an artistic medium are an expression of her enthusiasm and passion for the topic as well as her in-depth knowledge. Her life-long work as a collector in this area has led, among other things, to the foundation of the »Marjan & Gerard Unger Jewelry Collection« at Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum.
Freedom has its limitations - this is the motto of her sunday morning lecture on jewelry now, seen from a Dutch perspective, which she will give in Munich's Neue Sammlung where jewelry addicts from all over the world meet during »Schmuck« of Internationale Handwerksmesse.
An event of Die Neue Sammlung - The International Design Museum Munich - in collaboration with the Dutch Consulate General Munich and Arnoldsche Art Publishers
