Entrance to the museum
Barrier-free access possible at the main entrance.
Parking
On the north side of the Alte Pinakothek. Access from Arcis- and Barerstrasse.
Ring the bell at the gate and present a disabled parking permit.
Lifts
The lift on the ground floor east is out of order due to a technical defect. As a result, only Room I of the exhibition "From Goya to Manet" is currently accessible. Unfortunately, the other rooms of the presentation and the café are currently not barrier-free but can only be reached via smaller staircases with ten (to the café) or three steps (within this exhibition). We apologise for these restrictions.
Access to the gallery rooms on the upper floor and to the museum shop is guaranteed by lifts.
Seating and wheelchairs
Light, portable folding chairs and two wheelchairs are available. Please ask at the information desk.
Restrooms
Disabled toilets are located on the ground floor.
Cloakrooms and lockers
The cloakroom is located on the ground floor. Jackets and bags can be deposited for a fee of 1 Euro per person. Lockers are also available (deposit 1 or 2 euros). Spacious lockers are available for school classes. The key is available at the information desk.
